He built his own company Reynold Extracts from scratch with patented brands of culinary extracts. The company's products are so unique and sought after that Joel and his #2 Brian (J.K. Simmons) who refers to every employee as "Dinkus", have entered negotiations for a buyout by General Mills. They just need to keep things operating smoothly until a final offer is made. Joel's home life however, is a different story.
