Continuity: After the confrontation with the meter maid in the mall, Franklin chases down the van, climbs in, gets into the front passenger seat and fastens his seatbelt. After they drive up to the second floor, Daniel says, "Fasten your seatbelts" and Franklin is shown fastening his seatbelt again.

Lots of fun for the kids

While the story is predictable and the ending is quite sappy this still is a great movie for the younger kids. Tom Arnold is relatively funny as the bumbling crook with a good heart. However it is veteran actor Paymer as the dad who works hard at everything but his relationship with the kids that makes this a marginally enjoyable show for the adults.

Rent this when you are looking to for a decent family movie to sit around and share with the kids.
