That's what was going through my mind as I watched this film. It was so over the top that I found it actually off putting. The acting is of the hammiest nature with Gangster Prankster being so outrageous that he became very annoying very fast. The titular villain Aftershock was a good concept from the Batman villain mold of good intentioned scientist turns to the darkside after being scorned but the suit was just awful. The plot was lower level comic book cheesiness, complete with corrupt politicians and cops after the vigilante heroine. The only thing that made this film enjoyable was Joan Severance who turned in the best performance as the dominatrix leather clad superheroine. If she had been given a better script and a bigger budget, she might have been able to save this film, but as it is she is left to flounder while the rest of the film drags her down.
