"Zeo" originally was to stand for "Zordon of Eltar's Odyssey", in reference to the Power Rangers' alien mentor. It was changed to just an alien term for a power crystal, which was introduced in the latter part of "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers."

Good

Power Rangers Zeo is the follow-up to the original show, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. And Zeo was a good show that was entertaining but is NO WHERE near the excellence of the original. The reason why the original show was so good was because #1 We know the concept for the Power Rangers is silly and the show was light-hearted so the plots and action scenes worked cause it seemed kind of comical. #2 The cast was excellent.

Now Zeo is a serious program so that kind of hurts the show cause it makes it seem stupid. And the cast of Zeo is not that good. But the show itself is pretty entertaining and some of the episodes were AWESOME but it's no where near the excellence of the original show.

A little Side Note:

Jason, the original Red Ranger returning as the Gold Ranger was awesome:)and provided for some good episodes.
