I used to love this show as a kid... But then came the re-runs...

I used to really enjoy this show as a kid, I remember thinking it was cool plus I really loved Christina Cox in the show.

But then the first season was on re-run last year or so and I was kind of shocked, the quality was not near as good as I remembered it to be, SURE I was a kid when it was first on BUT even MCGYVER can be re-watched at ease even nowadays.

Perhaps I wasn't very picky with the shows I was watching back in the days.

I still like Christina COX, she's excellent but the stories of each case aren't really up to the standards of today, which makes sense I suppose even MCGYVER sort of feels cheesy in parts while re-watching it nowadays.

Back in the days I'd probably rate it 3.5 out of 5, Now it has to be 2 out of 5.

It can be worth to check out for all the MATRIX-fans out-there since CARRIE-ANN MOSS is in the first season for about 9 episodes...

Perhaps the following seasons were better but I only caught the re-runs of the first season so that's where my rating applies...
