Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.
Visit our Parents Guide Help to learn more

Sex & Nudity

A man rapes a young girl offscreen and later brags about it.

Violence & Gore

Shootings throughout; most of them aren't very bloody.

Some of the more graphic moments include: A guy getting his thumb shot off, then getting shot in his other hand, then getting shot in the chest with lots of squirting blood.

A man is shot in the head, leaving a huge, gaping hole in his skull.

A man is shot, leaving a tiny, see-through hole in his body; he is then shot in the head with some blood and brains splattering.

Profanity

Mild, mostly "damns" and "hells". One or two uses of "a-hole". Several uses of "bitch". Some women are referred to as whores.

Lots of people get drunk at the town saloon. Some cigar-smoking.

The many showdowns throughout the movie are fairly intense, even more so as the film goes on and the main characters are put in peril.

Sharon Stone's character's flashbacks as a child are intense and sad.
