[Then, Liu Kang charges after Rayden, who then throws Liu Kang to the ground]
Liu Kang: If you are Rayden, why did you let Chan die, why didn't you protect him?
Lord Rayden: Why didn't you?
Liu Kang: I've had enough of this. I'm going to find my brother's killer at the tournament. With or without your consent.
