I thought this was a fine adaption of Kurt Vonnegut's short story and I am a huge fan of Vonnegut's work. I wasn't expecting much because Vonnegut does not translate very well to the screen (big and small) but I was happy to see they got the tone, theme and style right on the nose. Christopher Plummer is perfectly cast.
