Trivia:

Tôhô planned to release this movie as "Godzilla Vs. Destroyer" to the English-language markets, but when it realized that copyrighting an everyday word such as "destroyer" for its monster would be difficult, they released the film as "Godzilla VS Destoroyah" since "destoroyah" is close to the English version of the word, and was a unique name that could be copyrighted easily. When Tôhô had the movie dubbed into English, it made sure the monster was called "destroyer" on film, since that was the intended name.

The most moving and thrilling of all Godzilla films, with a solid plot, smooth acting, moving music, and emotional drama. I enjoyed this movie. There is one thrilling scene in which I liked, the part when Yukari gets trapped in the police car with Destoroyah pursuing her. The part when Miki breaks down and cry when Godzilla Junior laid lifeless on the ground almost reduced me to tears. I really despise Destoroyah, after all the damaged he'd done. Godzilla should of melted that ugly arachnid. A must see for all
