Today marks the DVD release of the penultimate season of Jag (that's Judge Advocate General, for the uninitiated). For ten seasons, CBS chronicled the impeccably styled David James Elliott, Catherine Bell, Patrick Labyorteaux, John M. Jackson, Karri Turner as they loved, argued, pined, and applied the stipulations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice and international law. Canceled in 2005, it is the only television show thus far to have been officially endorsed by the Department of Defense, the United States Navy, and the United States Marine Corps. As a tribute to this fallen hero, we studied the Spring 2010 runways for signs of its influence. Below, some looks from Alexander Wang, Loewe, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Rag & Bone suitable for conducting a court-martial. »

There's no "i" in NCIS. Oh, wait, there is. While TV's #1 show features a talented cast from top to bottom, Michael Weatherly has probably shined the most so far this season.
In the heart-stopping Season 7 premiere, "Truth or Consequences," Weatherly's Tony Dinozzo was featured in an episode that seemed engineered to show off his character.
Whether he's tormenting McGee, being chastised by Gibbs, flirting with Ziva (Cote de Pablo) or annoying pretty much everyone, he's remained front and center ever since.
In an interview with TV Guide Magazine, Weatherly talked about his juvenile character, a song he has coming up on the NCIS soundtrack and much more. Excerpts below:
On NCIS now being TV's No. 1 show, not just the No. 1 non-reality show: "I just don’t want anything to change. No. 3 is kind of better. They’re still not gonna cancel you if you’re No. 3. But now everyone’s looking. »

Warning: This article contains important plot spoilers about Monday night’s episode of Weeds.
Weeds, Showtime’s break-out series about a housewife-turned-drug-dealing and her band of eccentric friends and family, definitely likes to try to shock its viewers.
First there was the shock last season when we learned that gritty, foul-mouthed Captain Roy Till was secretly gay and involved with his DEA-agent-partner Phil Schlatter. Then, a few episodes later, Schlatter was killed and Captain Roy was vowing a particularly vicious revenge.
On Monday night’s episode, Captain Roy’s plans for revenge came to a grisly, unsuccessful end.
Recently we chatted by phone with Jack Stehlin, the actor who plays Captain Roy, and who viewers might also remember for playing Dr. Angelman on the fourth season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. [Editor's note: This interview was conducted before we had seen the episode which has genreated some controversy among viewers.]
AfterElton.com: Captain Roy is a fascinating character. It seemed like the death of his partner Schlatter changed him »

Recently I found myself in a small room, wearing paper pajamas, and kinda doped again. I was in yet another institution, this time for running out of my home and attacking the garbage men with a rubber pepper from Taco Bell. It’s weird, I know, but apparently the boa I was wearing matched the coloration of the pepper, so at least I know I looked good. Anyway, while I was in there I met these guys from Canada. They looked kinda weird -but it may have just been the Thorazine --and said they’re in a band. Apparently, the story goes, they got in trouble for the things coming out of their mouths and the ‘Authorities’ automatically assumed they’re crazy. When you speak out about change, about escaping from the brutal technocratic society of Governmental controlled idiocy that we labor under, people tend to look at you strangely. »

Jag's David James Elliott has traded his buzzcut and pressed uniform for a flowing mane and a leather breastplate to star in Sci Fi's two-part movie event Knights of Bloodsteel (Sunday, April 19 and Monday, April 20, 9 pm/Et, Sci Fi). TVGuide.com: Knights of Bloodsteel could not be more different from Jag. What drew you to the project?
David James Elliott: I'm a fan of the genre and I'm always looking for something my 6-year-old can watch. I thought it was right up his alley. »

Let The Right One In (Magnolia) An awkward 12 year-old boy, ignored by his mother and the target of bullies, finds himself drawn to his new neighbor: a girl his own age who only appears at night, and seems herself to be as lonely an outcast as he. Haunting film from Sweden is best described as The 400 Blows meets Nosferatu, and contains some of the most haunting imagery of any film in recent memory. Truly a unique and memorable work.
