• Factual errors: The girl throws pebbles at the electric fence surrounding the facility they break into in the desert, the electrified fence sparks. Pebbles thrown at a single layer electrified fence would not cause a reaction.
  
  
• Continuity: When Charlie is in freefall chasing Nastassja after she 'falls' from the plane, when he opens his chute, it's shown from above as solid orange. A few moments later, when shown from below it's orange with purple end cells on one end and a black center cell. Moments later, it's shown again from above as solid orange.
  
  
• Factual errors: In the several scenes where reserve parachutes are used, once they are inflated, a pilot chute can be scene trailing behind and attached to the top skin. Real reserve parachutes do not have the pilot chutes attached to them, the pilot chutes and deployment bags are designed to automatically disconnect after the parachutes inflates.
  
  

• Factual errors: The windmill which kills Ben Pinkwater near the end of the film has blades which are rotating too fast relative to the general speed of the other windmills.
  
  
• Factual errors: The Boeing 747 has an "INTERFLUG" livery. INTERFLUG - the airline of the former German Democratic Republic (East Germany) - never had a 747.
