Everything past part one was progressively worse and worse, and this was the bottom of the trash bin.
The acting was horrible, the plot was a re-hash of the previous 3 movies, and the writing was as smart as 3rd grade "What I Did Last Summer" report. The main reason for the making of the movie was as a broadcast token.
When the Fox Network originally aired this movie in the United States in 1994, it was broadcast with 3D scenes. A little logo would appear on-screen to tell you to put on your special 3-D glasses during certain scenes. The glasses were sold at convienence stores around the time, a marketing tie-in for the occasion. Some of the scenes looked cool in 3-D, like the food fight and the bachelor party, but it was just a novelty and was only worth seeing once, which is exactly how many times it was shown in the 3-D format.
When I die, St. Peter will probably frown on me for wasting the two hours of my life that I wasted to watch this crap, when I could have been doing something to help mankind instead.
