Trivia:
A clip of Bela Lugosi in White Zombie (1932) is included to show the face of the father of the vampire family, Count Dracula. In other scenes not showing his face, Peter Fonda plays the Count, as well his main role as Van Helsing. moreGoofs:
Continuity: In the opening dialog between Nadja and the man at the bar, Nadja is initially wearing a scarf over her hair. At one point the camera cuts to the man's face and we see the back of Nadja's head, but now suddenly and inexplicably, the scarf has disappeared and remains absent for the rest of the scene. moreQuotes:
Nadja: My father was a night bird. I am the same. I find comfort in shadows. I'm no good in the day. We have an allergy to sunlight. My whole family. moreSoundtrack:

Nadja is a very refreshing version of the redundant vampire movies out there. It had beautiful and intriguing cinematography that at times seemed like a livening photograph. Although the average viewer that is used to watching "spoon-fed" movies that do not require any viewer intellect or imagination may find this movie to abstract for their taste, It will Certainly be their loss for this movie is a must see if you are any kind of a movie aficionado. I am very happy to have added this movie to my movie history repertoire. Enjoy.
