  • Continuity: During the movie, the scars on the monster's chin and lip change. First his lip is split, later it's healed, but now he has other wounds on his chin. Than his lip and chin are healed, with no scars. But later you see big scars on both his chin and lip.

  • Continuity: When Victor is about to make Elizabeth live again, he pulls the cover off Justine's body twice.

  • Revealing mistakes: When Elizabeth, while engulfed in flames, falls to the floor from the staircase near the end of the film, ignition fluid is visible on the floor in order to cause the flames to spread.

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Professor Waldman is administering cholera vaccinations, and they are struggling with the townsperson, the man is saying, "You're not sticking that in me," but his mouth remains tightly closed.

  • Continuity: SPOILER: After the murder of Elizabeth, Victor brings her body back to the family mansion outside the rainstorm. When Victor enters carrying Elizabeth and is stopped by Henry, his hair is soaking wet from the rain. In the next shot, he enters the laboratory and his hair is completely dry.

  • Continuity: SPOILER: After Elizabeth is murdered, Victor brings her body back to the mansion and sets her down on the table face down. In the next shot, we see her body lying face up.

  • Continuity: SPOILER: When Elizabeth's body is placed onto the mesh tray, her arms are hanging off to the sides. However, when she is placed into the tub, her arms are tucked onto the tray, next to her sides.

  • Revealing mistakes: SPOILER: When William is brought back to the house in Elizabeth's arms, dead or unconscious, you can see him grab for the blanket that is thrown over his body.

  • Revealing mistakes: SPOILER: During the shot featuring the dead Baron Frankenstein in bed, the Baron can be seen to close his eyes himself a split second before the Creature closes them for him.
