I have loved Tom and Jerry my whole life and I still do. The show was awesome, but I was incredibly disappointed by the movie. Clichés - the movie is filled with them! There are many minor characters we could have avoided (like the alley cats and the crazy captain) and there was so many of them that they almost stole the picture from the main characters! No major battles of any sort, which is what Tom and Jerry is about: Rivalry. They were almost friends in that movie! The songs were horrible and the bad guys lame. The plot wasn't all too good.
Tom and Jerry is best on show. The movie is best avoided. What horrible thing to do to such memorable and wonderful characters...
