• In the widescreen version of the film available on the "Kermit's 50th Anniversary" edition DVD in the U.S., "When Love Is Gone" song is cut. (This is because of a misguided attempt to satisfy all audiences (or perhaps stick it to the widescreen/theatrical crowd); since the song was removed from the theatrical prints, the DVD contains that version in its "original widescreen presentation", but includes the long version in pan and scan.) The US laserdisc release is the widescreen, long version of the movie, and indeed "When Love Is Gone" is cropped on the DVD.
  
  
• For timing reasons, the song "The Love Is Gone" is missing from most TV versions.
  
  
• The musical sequence "The Love is Gone" is missing from the UK DVD versions of the film.
