Scotty(Dean Cameron) leaves work early to go back to his Apt. to see his girlfriend.
When Scotty gets there he finds his girlfriend in bed with another man, that man turns out to be Scotty's boss.
The Boss fires Scotty then his girlfriend leaves him, then if things couldn't get any worse he is thrown out of his Apt.
Scotty now down on his luck, meets up with his two friends Soup(Brian Perry) and Lars(Alexis Arquette) they attend a party.
While there Scotty meets the girl of his dreams Dana(Felicity Waterman) but she blows Scotty off.
Later that night Scotty finds a Genie in the bottle.
Who's name happens to be Jeannie(Ami Dolenz daughter of Micky Dolenz of The Monkees)
She grants Scotty his every wish. And pretty much every wish from Scotty is something to impress Dana.
As the plot goes on Jeannie starts to fall in love with Scotty.
And i think we all know what will happen in the end.
Director Skott Snider does a good job, he never lets the movie get too serious except for a few parts, but the serious scenes do actually work.
I am glad to see that i am not the only one who enjoys Miracle Beach.
If you're into B-movies it's worth a watch.
While Miracle Beach may not win any awards it's a fun movie, with really good performances by Dean Cameron and Ami Dolenz.
Both are talented actors who should of but never broke the big-time.
I find most of Dean Cameron's movies fun and this is his best outing.
Other then Miracle Beach Ami Dolenz has made some lousy movies, but she is beautiful and and talented and always shines.
Here she does the same only sharing the spotlight with Dean Cameron
I give Miracle Beach 8/10
