Trivia:
Number 10 on the Ducks' rival team, the Hawks, is named Herek. The film was directed by Stephen Herek. moreGoofs:
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Goldberg is tied to the goal and Bombay tells him it's his Bar Mitzvah, Goldberg says it's more like a circumcision. The ritual circumcision for Jewish boys is a 'bris' and takes place at infancy, while a Bar Mitzvah happens at the beginning of adolescence. moreSoundtrack:

The first time I saw mighty ducks, it was just like watching the sun rise. Just pure beauty. The chemistry between the actors on the Mighty Ducks was incredible. Their humor; forever remembered. And I can not imagine any one putting on a performance like Emilio Estevez for Gordon Bombay. Although it was not Oscar worthy(it can't be for a "family movie") I still consider it one of the top 5 acting jobs of all time. And the fact that the plot was grabbing me the whole time, just makes this whole production absolutely unbelievable. Now when filming my own films, this inspires me to achieve nothing but pure excellence. Thank you Emilio, and I can not say enough that EVERYBODY needs to see this movie. With great catchy lines "There's no point in winning if you can't win big!" and the serious scenes involving gordon bombay and his team, their is something in this movie for everyone. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
