Forget about Picasso and Monet. If you're looking for an artist who's art screams who she is, then look no further than Frida Kahlo. This documentary is a wonderful place to start. It explains Frida's tragic life step by step in full detail with frequent visits to her house in Mexico and examples of her artwork. I saw this documentary and fell in love with Frida's artwork and I know you will, too. Each an every one of her paintings, whether gruesome or sarcastic, is an autobiography of the greats painter ever to live.
