• Continuity: When Stephen is in the bathtub, Ingrid's arm suddenly changes position between shots.
  
  
• Continuity: Anna sets out a vase of red tulips in the Apartment M hideaway. When she sets them up they are long and limp, but when the movie cuts back to Stephen being interviewed by the inspector, the flowers are shorter and standing straight up.
  
  
• Continuity: When Stephen is leaving Elizabeth to her hotel he is wearing a suit. When he requests the driver to stop and let him out of the car he is wearing an overcoat.
  
  

• Continuity: Early in the film when Stephen arrives home it is night. Yet once inside, when the maid draws the curtains, the garden outside is bathed in sunlight.
