Blown away is a so-so film about a Rich, a young man who has a torrid sexual relationship with beautiful seventeen year old Megan (who looks ten years older). The plot also involves Weg, Rich's brother, who keeps hissing that Megan isn't all that she's cracked up to be and Megan's overprotective father (that character type is also found in a hundred other films), who is furious at the mere suggestion that Megan's having a sexual relationship. Later in the film, Rich does find out that Megan (and other major characters) aren't all what they seem. I watched this film from twelve-twenty to two in the morning on free-to-air television. The only thing that kept me watching (and awake) was the torrid sex scenes. If there was an Oscar for most beautiful actress, Nicole Eggert would be nominated. The plot is interesting but confusing and unbelievable in places. Towards the climax the plot twists and vague character development shoot out of nowhere without any foreshadowing and not enough explanation. Overall, I give the film 6/10.
