The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

The character of Jasmine appears throughout the film wearing clothes that reveal her bare midsection and her modest cleavage.

There are small part female characters who all dress similar to Jasmine.

Genie briefly acts like a fay clothing designer at one point. He later jokes to Aladdin that he is getting kind of fond of him, adding "not that I want to pick out curtains or anything."

Violence & Gore

A man is eaten alive by a sand monster.

Aladdin is thrown in a sea to drown.

Jasmine nearly gets her arm chopped off at one of the market stands after giving a hungry little boy an apple that's unpaid for.

Aladdin stabs a giant snake.

Profanity

None.

When Genie is doing an impersonation of a french person and has a cigarette in his mouth. (him and Aladdin are talking about Jasmine, before Genie turns him into a prince) On top of that, he uses it to blow smoke-shaped heart, a cute sight-gag.

At the end, Jafar turns into a large, venomous snake, and later, a red and menacing-looking Genie.

There is a scene where it appears Aladdin might drown, though he is later rescued.
