The Fantaghiro series started off quite well with a very nice fairy tale of a princess with a mind of her own uniting two war-torn kingdoms. This sequel is almost as good. However, from this onwards, it's all downhill. Don't even bother watching parts 3-5, they get worse with every further sequel, until they even commit the grisliest of crimes for a fairy tale in part 5: a non-happy end.
Plotwise, this is about the struggle of Fantaghiro against the evil ice queen who kidnaps her father.
Enjoyable if you like fairy tales. (7/10)
