Adrian Edmondson and Rik Mayall originally planned to call the series 'Your Bottom' - so that viewers would be heard to say such things as, "I saw Your Bottom on television last night".

Goofs:

Continuity: In the episode where Richie and Eddie look after the shop, Richie is doing a rain dance with his trousers pulled up over his knees. One of the trouser legs falls down but in the next shot it is up again.

Bottom is one of the funniest comedies created. Every time I watch it I can't help but laugh hysterically at the antics of Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson who are the best double act British comedy has ever produced. Violent, crude loud and hilarious. A must see
