Anachronisms: There are references to Creedence Clearwater Revival, even though the movie is set in 1965 and Creedence didn't go by that name until 1969.
Factual errors: The flags in the courtroom are reversed; the flag of the United States should be positioned to its own right of any other flag or standard, even on an American military installation on foreign soil. Also U.S. Army flags or standards, even the National Flag, should have spearhead pole finials instead of eagle pole finials. Eagles are reserved for civilian flags and the President of the United States.
Crew or equipment visible: When MSG McKinney is talking to Bean during the first "hat clear" check, the boom mic is reflected in McKinney's sunglasses.
Revealing mistakes: After Pvt. Bean falls out of the window; as he gets up, you can see tubing that runs up into his pants (left leg). This is for the stage blood that runs down his head from the glass in his head.
Factual errors: The ribbons [over left pocket] of everyone are in the wrong order. No service patch on right shoulder of the JAG officer but has Korean War and United Nation ribbons. Warriors, Inc. and Capt. Dale USMC Ret'd should know better.
Anachronisms: Early bar scene 1965, Bean walks in the bar and passes a push button pay telephone. These phones came out in the mid '70s.
