STAR RATING: ***** The Works **** Just Misses the Mark *** That Little Bit In Between ** Lagging Behind * The Pits
When a group of CIA men are kidnapped by a sadistic British ex soldier and a defected Arab, they send in two men, one of whom is played by David Bradley. When he gets too wooden, half-way through the film him and his mate are captured, and they send in the resourceful Joe Armstrong (Dudikoff) to save them and stop a killer device going off in New York City.
The interminably wooden Bradley takes care of proceedings for the first half of the film, before being replaced half way through by the only marginally more thesped Dudikoff. The usual martial arts mayhem and antics go off in this rather unnecessary but distracting enough and inoffensive slice of no brainer hokum. **
