An important historical document, showing the brave side of the war, 10 April 2002
8/10
Author: Jonathan Fain (faincut@gmail.com) from Tel Aviv, Israel

This documentary movie is a document that reflects the French at WWII.

The village people saved thousand of Jews and their spirit was against the Nazi occupation.

The beginning of the film is great, has a nice historical background of French religious culture, and amazing historical photographs... The evidence of people speaking are important, although they are quite tiring after 30 minutes...

8 of 10, must be watched once...
