eBay find: Michael J. Fox's screen-worn western outfit from Back to the Future Part III

11 September 2009 5:45 AM, PDT | Boxwish.com | See recent BoxWish news »

Time travel can be a tricky one when picking an outfit; it’s got to transcend the fashions of different decades, or even centuries, depending on when you’re going to. This week’s eBay find comes from a film series recently voted the best time travel movie, the awesome Back to the Future. And it was worn by our favourite time traveller Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly in the third instalment Back to the Future Part III, when he travels back to the 1800s.

Who could forget Marty’s iconic cowboy outfit from Back to the Future Part III, given to him by Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd) in 1955, and worn to rescue that same doctor in 1885. Although Marty said: “Clint Eastwood never wore anything like this” when given the brightly coloured tacky outfit, he still went under the guise of Clint Eastwood to introduce himself back in the Wild West. »

20 Years of Summer Movies, A Love/Hate Relationship

7 May 2009 10:00 PM, PDT | JustPressPlay.net | See recent JustPressPlay news »

With the release of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the 2009 summer movie season has begun. The large number of crowd-pleasing titles (and bevy of sequels) included the following: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Batman, Ghostbusters II, License to Kill, Star Trek V, Lethal Weapon 2, The Abyss, Honey I Shrunk the Kids and, to a lesser extent, The Karate Kid: Part III. So on the Platinum Anniversary of the summer flick phenomenon, »

Zac Efron is hooked on time travelling and dreams of taking on Michael J. Fox's role in a new Back To The Future movie.

In his new film 17 Again, Efron's character - played as an adult by Matthew Perry - is struck by lightning and becomes a teenager again.

And now he's keen to take on the the ultimate time travel adventure by recreating Fox's Marty McFly character in a fourth instalment of the hit film franchise.

Efron reveals, "Growing up, my favourite thing to do was to climb into the car and play Back To the Future. I would pretend I was Marty McFly."

Fox last played McFly in 1990's Back to the Future Part III.

Efron recently pulled out of revisiting another classic movie, Footloose. »
