There's actually only 4 episodes of the Greek Myths. All episodes are done excellently, as only the Jim Henson people can do. Fine acting, fine costumes, special effects, and of course brilliantly made creatures. The stories are some of the classic ones that we all know, as well as some of the lesser known stories such as the story of Daedalus and Icarus. It never occurred to me just how bizarre old myths really are until watching these. None of them have happy endings. They are always about horrible and strange things happening to people, often for reasons that make no sense in the present day. Europeans of that time must have had some serious problems.
If you've seen the other Storyteller episodes, then you should definitely see the Greek Myths as well. I purchased the complete DVD set, which was an excellent purchase.
