I have to say I love this movie. I saw it on video when I was a kid. The man in the corner shop used to let me hire anything and he recommended it, thinking it would scare me so I would stop hiring 18 movies, but it had the opposite effect and began a life long thirst for gore and scares! The late great Brion James made this film something special, and I began my quest for spotting him in various TV shows and bit parts in movies. This is probably also the first time I saw Lance Henriksen in anything as a main character, and you have to love his work from Aliens (Bishop)to Millennium. I was shocked to see him in the little known 'Stone Cold' in 1991 where he played 'Chains Cooper' and showed us all what a really great character actor he has become. I was shocked to see Brion James had appeared in Chips and Dukes of Hazard, as I rarely missed it as a kid. I now find myself searching for those episodes so I can have a good old flash-back moment and imagine myself sitting 2 inches from the TV, mesmerised. If you haven't seen House 3, find it and try it out. Classic cheesy horror at its finest!
