(1992-1993) The eye-candy beach adventure series starring David Hasselhoff as Lt. Mitch Buchannon of the lifeguard patrol and a crew of young and beautiful lifeguards (among them Pamela Anderson, Nicole Eggert, and Alexandra Paul, with Yasmine Bleeth joining the cast this season). Jeremy Jackson and Richard Jaeckel co-star. Despite the title, this is really the show's fourth season, but its third after it left NBC for first run syndication, where it became a guilty pleasure on American TV and a hit in Germany.

(1990-1991) The prime time eye-candy adventure nicknamed "Babewatch" by its fans debuts on DVD. Though it premiered as a network series on NBC, it was cancelled after a single season and continued on for ten years in first run syndication. Despite the title, this is the show's second season, but its first in first run syndication, when it became a guilty pleasure on American TV and a hit in Germany. David Hasselhoff stars as Mitch Buchannon oversees a crew of young and beautiful lifeguards (among them Billy Warlock and Playboy centerfold Erika Eleniak, the first of many pinups in the cast) proudly filling out their body-hugging red swimsuit uniforms while keeping the beaches safe for surfers, swimmers, sunbathers, and gawkers alike. Jeremy Jackson is Mitch's son Hobie (he replaces Brandon Call, who originated the role in the network run) and Richard Jaeckel joins the cast this season. The 5-disc set also features the feature-length original pilot Panic at Malibu Pier, which debuted in the spring of 1989 with Parker Stevenson in the cast.
