• Revealing mistakes: When Alice is fighting Freddy in the church, she burns a hole through his body. Not only is it obvious that the hole isn't actually there but it is a cartoon effect superimposed over Freddy but when the camera goes away and then comes back, there is a panel of brightness at the top left hand corner of the effect so you can't see the Freddy jumper clearly.
  
  
• Continuity: Kristen's hair in the beginning basement scenes.
  
  
• Continuity: After Sheila smears the blood on her paper, it's wet. But in the next shot the blood stain is dried and has changed formation.
  
  

• Revealing mistakes: Chain visibly attached to the back of Dan's truck when it gets smashed in by an invisible force.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: Camera crew reflected in Dan's truck.
  
  
• Continuity: When Freddy fights Alice in the church, we see a close-up of Freddie taunting her and the little finger of the glove is missing and his bare, unburnt finger is clearly visible.
  
  
• Continuity: When Kristen is talking to the real nurse after bumping her head, her hand is on her head in the wide shot but not in the close-up.
  
  
• Factual errors: When a headphone cord is unplugged from a stereo, the stereo does not turn off. The stereos speakers would turn on.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: Kristen is with Alice before school. Kristen lights a cigarette with a match, but it doesn't ignite. She inhales and exhales, but no smoke is visible.
  
  
• Continuity: In the beginning when Kristen is walking towards the little girl, she is facing her. But when she gets closer she comes from behind
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: Obvious double when Alice is using the nunchucks in front of her mirror. The actual person has a different hair color than her.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: Crew member reflected in Alice's Dad's car window when she pulls off from the hospital
  
  
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Alice is fighting Freddy in the church Freddy says "I...am...eternal" But it is obvious that he says something else ( looks like "forever") because his lips movement doesn't match the word.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When Dan enters the diner looking for Rick, the needle of the record player in the jukebox is on the paper label in the center, not in the grooves, yet the music is still playing.
