Fun Stuff

Trivia:
Director Frank LaLoggia asked his friend Richard Jay Silverthorn, who portrayed the adult Lucifer in Fear No Evil (1981), to create a mask that Frankie would use that was "representative of Bela Lugosi's guise in Dracula (1931)". Compare that mask at 05:50 with the statuette of Count Dracula at 49:48. Unfortunately, this connection is lost on most viewers who, immediately on seeing it, think the mask is of Richard Nixon. more
Goofs:
Continuity: In the archery scene, the driver's window of Phil's 1961 Chevrolet Parkwood station wagon is clearly rolled down at 01:34:51 before Frankie gets into the car. Moments later at 01:35:21, as Phil is menacing Frankie from outside, the window is suddenly closed. more
Quotes:
Geno Scarlatti: [Frankie knees Geno in the groin] Quick! Call a doctor!
Frankie Scarlatti: Why?
Geno Scarlatti: To save my unborn child!

This is a beautiful ghost story, nothing terrible about it!, 11 April 2005
8/10

I saw this movie when I was only seven or so and have loved it ever since. Perhaps it is not has high tech as other movies but it has really wonderful elements. The execution of this film is wonderful. As opposed to the last comment on this movie, I have to disagree. I think an open mind is needed to fully appreciate older films. If you do not feel that something from the eighties and older is worthy of your time this probably is not the movie for you. If you do love a good ghost story, try this one on for size. It isn't a scary movie, relatively mild with very little violence and no blood. It is creative and really heart warming.
