I just happened to be an extra during the filming of this mediocre B-movie during my Sophomore year in HS. What I remember most from those two weeks that spring ('87) is hanging out with Sam Rockwell drinking MGD (I remember he liked to light his cigarettes with two or three matches cause he liked the sulfur taste...my friend Dave kept offering him his new Zippo but he had to have the matches) and Victor Saliva salivating over every young male on the set. I was there with 4 or 5 others from the drama club at De Anza HS and that man would find any excuse to get around us young boys. I mean, we were just extras, right, but Vic seemed to take a liking to our little gang right away (thats how we started hanging with Sam...he was our same age and Vic introduced us to him for someone to spend the waiting hours with) we were the only teens that showed up for all the Circus shoots at Contra Costa County Fairgrounds & we spent a lot of time with the director and senior production staff. Which was great, it gave us an inside look into the film-making process, but boy was that director CREEPY. Just thought I'd chime in with an up close eye witness account.
