The first song that the girls sang onstage as a group was a version of The Beatles' "I'm Happy Just To Dance With You".

Goofs:

Errors in geography: The opening sequence is intended to portray the family's cross-country move from New York City to California. However, in the St. Louis shot, the camera is facing south with the Gateway Arch in the center. As the vehicle moves toward the camera, it pans left and reveals more of the Mississippi River...which clearly shows the family driving east of St. Louis, not west.

Just the Ten of Us was a wonderful show. It had that thing that makes shows and movies so special. It was way better than Growing Pains, the show that spun Just the Ten of Us off. Bill Kirchenbauer was the funniest of all the cast. I recall he was going into one of his classes and was coming from track practice. He had the starting pistol and when the class wouldn't be quiet, he fired it into the air and everyone rushed to their desks. So funny.
