If you're a true "Twilight" fanatic, you've probably already taken -- or at least started planning -- a vacation to Forks, Washington, the main setting for Stephenie Meyer's books and their film adaptations. Maybe you were one of the participants in June's Summer School in Forks. Or maybe you're on a tight budget, and so had to make do with the documentary "Twilight in Forks."
Well now you need to go a little further to prove yourself die-hard Twilighter status. According to USA Today, the latest hot spot destination for fans is Volterra, Italy. The small Tuscan town is home to the Volturi vampire coven, which features prominently in the latest movie installment, "New Moon."
Just like in Forks, the tourism office of Volterra encourages fans to visit and even offers travel packages that include a "New Moon"-based walking tour called "Hot on the Trail of Edward and Bella,

Forks, Washington — He's arguably the most talented and popular of a collection of musicians who compose songs about Stephenie Meyer's vivid "Twilight" universe. Yet, if you've only seen the "Twilight" movie, you may not be aware of Mitch Hansen. He's hoping all that will soon change.
"It's called 'By You,' " the affable frontman of the Mitch Hansen Band told MTV News of his latest song and video, which he's premiering with us and hoping to get onto the upcoming "New Moon" soundtrack. "It's essentially from Bella's perspective, and it's kind of a very edgy rock-type song. It's about 'New Moon' through her eyes, all that pain she felt. Then at the end it resolves — in a more happy place,

Premiering on Tuesday, September 8 at 8:00 p.m. E.T. on The CW.
I had moderate hopes for this show when it premiered in 2008. I hated that they were going to remake my beloved Beverly Hills: 90210, but since I liked Gossip Girl so much I was willing to give the new 90210 a chance. Of course, I forgot that I was a complete idiot. I wasn't impressed with the first season of this show. It was just so much more of the same that I thought my brain would go bored from tedium. It really had none of the spark that made Gossip Girl so delicious.
Apparently I wasn't the only person who was complaining, because the showrunners have promised to revamp the show. In fact, they even announced that Dustin Milligan (Ethan) would be dropped from the cast. Frankly I think that was a mistake, because they weren't getting rid of

Already in love with the 1987 Mark Harmon-starrer of the same name, I was eager to find out if the powers that be would bestow upon me two awesome films about the dreaded wasteland that is education in June and July. Directed by Ben Trandem, Lance Hendrickson, Steven Rhoden, Troy McCall and Mike Nelson, the 21st-century Summer School (now out on DVD from Osiris Entertainment after previous self-distribution) is an anthology of the horror-informed nightmares suffered by its main character Charles (Simon Wallace), and thankfully, it’s quite good for its low budget, showcasing a wealth of creativity and talent on the part of its filmmakers.
The premise is totally fun and intriguing, especially considering the lack of good anthologies today. Charles runs his own fanboy website on which he reviews flicks, specifically horror. He is fresh off a weekend binge of nonstop viewing when his summer-school session begins, and

Disclaimer: This article may contain sarcasm; irony and “LOLs” proceed with caution.
Our second stab at the Oscars contains make-up effects and score (read part 1 here). The make-up effects, followed by the visual effects and technical awards, remain my favorite parts of the show; here you got to see your heroes: Rick Baker, Howard Berger, Chris Walas or Rob Bottin in the audience. Even the great Stan Winston could have been out there, back in the day. Though best known for his “visual effects” wins—he brought home an Oscar for best make-up in 1991 for Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
Here genre fans can rejoice, Greg Cannom brought home the gold, again, for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Cannom, a genre elder, worked alongside (just to name a few) Fincher, Coppola, Landis, Dante, Blatty, and Cohen creating all sorts of character and creature make-ups.
This part of the list also
