Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

There are only passing references made to sex and all nudity is completely obscured and is fairly important to the story rather than being gratuitous.

Violence & Gore

Profanity

I love this movie and I think it is a wonderful modern take on a French classic. The language, however, is less than noble. Parents should know that there are some words used in this film that are 'big' curse words [at least in my world] and they are hard to gloss over when watching the film with younger children as a PG rating would indicate that you are able to do. I watched it with my 10 year old and her eyes got a little big from time to time and she gave me that 'oh-oh' face. I didn't remember them being there from my original viewing a decade or more ago.
