This is a very beautiful film, simple but charming. It has been a pleasure to watch it. Like in other Kiarostami's films, the most amazing thing is the interpretation of the actors. The boy that leads the film seems as true as can be. It looks as if the story is really happening as you look at the film; isn't that the definition of good acting, of good filming? The story is quite simple, Ahmad takes by mistake the notebook where his classmate Nematzadeh is to do his homework. Not willing his friend to be punished by the teacher, he tries in every way to find his friend's home to give the notebook back. I liked this film very much. I was quite stressed before watching it, and it helped me better than any medicine (dis I say gin-tonic?). I did not find it slow, but it true that it is far from being a thriller. Do not hesitate to watch this film.
