killer film

one of those rare gems you find once in a blue moon. Totally under-rated and under-appreciated, with a fascinatingly well told story, great characters, strong ethnic flavor in North America, and from a totally (at that time) unknown (Atom Egoyan). I knew it, right there and then this guy would only do great films. It parallels Spielberg's Jaws as a directorial debut. There is nothing to say, since it is a visual media - words would only take away from the film. Get it. See it.
