God Help Us All., 1 February 2000

The Men's Club is bad. Really bad. Possibly one of the worst flicks ever to be spat out of Hollywood. How such an amazing cast can be wasted on what is essentially an unconvincing, smutty piece of trash is really beyond me. It really is just too awful to put into words how bad it is. You'll have to watch it for yourself to fully understand what I mean.

Any film with Stockard Channing is worth a look, no matter how bad it may be. She is the best actress in Hollywood's history, so anything she commits herself to is enough to warrant a glance. Yet she appears in about 4 minutes of the entire mess, bats her husband around the head with a broiling pan and leaves. I guess she realised as well how awful the film was and left as soon as she could.

The Men's Club deserves to be locked away and never to be unleashed to an unsuspecting public. Just stay away.
