The first time i saw high stakes i was about 11 years old and i enjoyed it then for a few reasons.
1. Its one of a kind of comedy rarely seen.
2. Not to be taken seriously as its kind of spoofy.
3. It does have a reasonable story not forgetting its only fun to watch.
4. The friendship between bo and his uncle is zaney its so funny
now if you didn't get the movie you weren't watching it closely even as
a kid i got this movie first time round. I'm not saying it deserves awards but its not that bad and how can people say there's only one funny bit in it there's more than one funny moment in fact there's many like at the start there's the moment when you see bo as a child now i wont spoil it for you but this bit is crucial because you the viewer will see why bo doesn't get on with his uncle and its funny. i haven't seen a movie like this ever since, maybe the sort of humour is a one off this is why it should get more recognition i not saying that this was well made its far from it but its a fun not to be taken seriously one of its kind little movie. tag line bo bakers cool. hes got class and if you're smart you don't mess with bo( me adding) because hes a jerk. if you want to see something different watch this. another funny bit was that preacher hes so funny and the blind surgeon he doesn't say much but the fact that he is a blind surgeon is funny you don't get many of them.
