Profile's nickname comes from the military's policy of physicians issuing "medical profiles" to soldiers who are injured. The profile informs their commander that they are restricted to light duty until they recover. Clint Eastwood gets a chance to be a drill sargeant in this movie, and it works well. I thought he gave one of his best performances in this movie, and I thought he was very funny as well. I know its a little slow at times but it's still a strong action/war/drama. The combat takes a while to happen but when it does it's well directed and believable. The supporting cast is strong too, especially Mario Van Peebles as the "king of rock and roll". But its Eastwood who dominated the film and gives a strong and funny performance. 4/5
