Plot:
The first half of this film, set hundreds of years ago, shows how the old man who eventually became Santa Claus was given immortality and chosen to deliver toys to all the children of the world. Well I've seen this movie several times as a kid and I thought it was great. It's a typical children's movie and I thought it had something magical about it. One of those movies where afterwards you go to your room and - being a kid - imagine that the candy cane you're holding in your hands is glowing. Compared to other Christmas movies I think this one is better than many.
