Helen Hayes is really cute here, but her movie is just plain boring and bad. The only reason I checked it out, actually, was because I'm a huge Bette Davis fan, but can I just say... fellow fans, steer clear! I loved Bette at around this age in "The Watcher in the Woods," so I thought I would also get a kick out of this one... but in "Murder with Mirrors," to be bluntly honest, she just looks very tired and really sick, and it's sad to see her trotted out and about for an underwritten, underused part, especially in a film as lame-ass as this one. She should have been at home in bed resting instead of filming this dump of a picture; her involvement here is nothing short of borderline cruelty.
Avoid it.
