An ideal choice for the whole family., 9 May 2002
Author: gridoon

Yes, it is a movie divided into two uneven parts. Yes, the first part is more likable and low-key, while the second one goes for a few too many action scenes (although it does have some thrilling moments). But overall, the movie handles a difficult subject with a touching simplicity (and NOT simple-mindedness), is collectively well-acted, and good fun all around. (***)
