I feel sorry for the way that Jennifer Beals' once promising film career in Hollywood major studio film productions turned out. First, it was revealed that her amazing dancing sequences in her debut film "Flashdance" weren't actually hers and then she follows up on that with this horrid remake of a classic story. The awful casting features Sting as Dr. Frankenstein and Beals as his monster/potential bride. The huge failure of this film led Beals to roles in B-level productions and made her soon forgotten by most. Hopefully, she'll someday get another chance to shine in a film like she did in "Flashdance."
