I expected this to be another bad Friday the 13th rip-off, but it was surprisingly pretty good. Mental patient, Howard Johns is released from the ward by mistake and goes on a mad killing spree in a girls sorority house. Hey, I didn't say that the plot was great. The film did have some pretty cool kills and the gore FX were surprisingly good for a movie made for the most part by complete unknowns. It really didn't have real boring spots either. This movie is pretty hard to find, but if you see it on the shelf, rent it. Some horror fans will recognize some actors from other horror films here like, Paul DeAngelo and Katherine Kamhi from Sleepaway Camp, Elizabeth Kaitan from Friday the 13th part 7, and Viveca Lindfors from Creepshow.
