As crime goes on in Detroit, Axel Foley (Murphy) is searching for his friend's murderer in Beverly hills. while in Beverly Hills, the police chief assigns two officers (Reinold & Ashton) to watch Foley, for he is out of his jurisdiction and is not to be searching for Mark's murderer. While searching, he gets into trouble and while being escorted out of Beverly Hills, he talks the officer to take him back where Axel brings his friend's murderer to justice.
