One of the most ridiculous films ever featured on MST3K. Joel and the bots seemed to have a blast ripping this cinematic sludge into confetti.
Take a couple of poachers, a femme kid who spends too much time alone, a half-wit pop singer and his entourage, an fuzzy and ugly little alien, throw in a blender and hit puree. The end result might be something that resembles "The Pod People".
The highlight is the recording session where our brilliant pop star (is he good? No, he's the BEST!!) is belting out his soon-to-be smash hit "Hear The Engines Roll Now". Or as Joel puts it "Idiot Control Now". Think of the most brainless 80's pop tune that you loved when you were 8 years old, multiply by 100, leave it in the trunk of your car for 3 long summer days, pour bleach all over it, and you'll have an idea of the what this song sounds like. And the lucky audience gets to hear the whole song! Woo-Hoo! Hear the engines roll, wheels on fire, burning rubber tires!
IT STINKS!
