• Continuity: During scenes on the beach, snow appears and disappears on the mountains of Rhum in the background between shots.
  
  
• Continuity: When Mac and Danny stop the car to check out the thump, the car's lights are off. When they get back into the car and decide to stay put for the night due to the fog, the lights are on, and Mac asks Danny to turn them off.
  
  
• Continuity: When Happer leaves his penthouse office to enter his adjacent apartment, he uses a remote control to reveal the apartment's single doorway entrance. Yet in the next sequence, Happer is shown cooking in the kitchen, with the same entrance in the background - double-doored.
  
  

• Continuity: When Happer leaves Knox's hut, Knox says, "Goodnight." As Happer strolls the beach past the helicopter, the sun's shadow falls directly in front of him. He is immediately joined by MacIntyre and Olsen, but the shadows on their bodies indicate that shot was taken at a different time.
  
  
• Continuity: Mac's facial hair is constantly changing between shots throughout the film.
  
  
• Continuity: Just before the first RAF Jaguar flies over the car, raindrops can be seen in the inside of the open door as they are feeding the rabbit. They stand up to look at the jet, and the car's roof has no raindrops on it.
  
  
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Mac first sees the meteor shower the audio says 'Holy cow" but his mouth is saying something different.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: Mac's watch left on a rock would not just lie there as waves hit it unless it were attached to the rock.
